Okay fellas,

Bike: Honda NSR 125 R

Right i know the engine is off a french model (previous owner being a prick bin'd it into a wall and cracked the yoke/stem), but i can't work out the frame:

ZDCJC22800F0 *****

Does anyone know where this is from?

As i can tell on the V5 the bike was first registered: 01 05 2001 however the number plate is R458 *** i can't work it out?..

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

Regards,
Ryan

Positive, if it was B it would make more sense, but its a 8 (both frame and V5)

Just done a bit of googleing. Found a Hungarian forum where a member says he has that chassis number and his bike is Italian.

It's not a good source though and the best answer would come from Alains because he is like BCF NSR member legend lol.

Just found this from 2006 aswell.

some bike between 1996 & 1997 may have a special number begining by ZDCJC228 and on those i've no info about their restrictions , the best way to find is to look both electronics . CDI with CI626 are unrestricted , RC valves with TV-78 also

So the age of the frame might be older than 2001.

That seems to correspond with it being on an R reg, which is what, 97? The date of registration being 2001 suggests it's an import model.
