Its a 1964 AJS 350cc, anyone know how fast this will go??

Any way I may be getting one from my dad and then over the holidays I will be pulling it apart cleaning it and restoring it to make it rideable as my second bike. I will probably show you guys how its going so look out for "The AJS Project" in either "Show & Tell" or "General Bike Chat" for anyone whos interested.

I had a 1963 AJS 350cc, it would get up to an indicated 85. Happiest sitting at 60-65 though, I've too much mechanical sympathy to thrash an old bike.

Ah thanks. I'll be 17 when i'll be riding it, i'll take into mind of not thrashing it. I'll wait until i'm 19 before i get a bike which i can escape the police with Very Happy ...

I don't have any such sympathy. I rode the Badger to third place in its class yesterday at the Houghton Tower Sprint on the wrong gearing.
