That's a poor statistic.

So 38.67% voted labour. If the other 61% was evenly spread across two different parties, of course labour would have won.

Mine is worth 0.367, Labour won the last 3 elections with 46.25% in the last one vs Tories at 36.59% and 4.67% UKIP, if UKIP did that well back in 2005 then i'd guess they'll do a lot better this year. Still, you just know everyone is going to vote Conservative or Labour, I don't want either though or Lib Dem so I effectively have no vote, still, would rather waste it than not vote.

0.050 in Henley.

Barely worth a toss then, as suspected. All supremely rich fuckers round here in the second half of life, and the direction of voting will never change, regardless of circumstance.

"In Ogmore, one person does not really have one vote, they have the equivalent of 0.009 votes.

Ogmore ranks #627 out of 650 constituencies in the Voter Power Index."

What do i win? (Looks like a permanent local labour MP *groans*)

Although on the other hand, on my other address:
"In Cardiff Central, one person does not really have one vote, they have the equivalent of 0.211 votes.
Cardiff Central ranks #255 out of 650 constituencies in the Voter Power Index."

Isn't so bad, so i guess my vote is better counted there. More convenient for me on election day anyway.

0.818 in Eastleigh.

Ranked 38th in the country.

Chris Huhne is our MP, he's a pretty high up LibDem, and professional cheesy bloke.

Still undecided which way I'll vote tbh.

Back home, in Washington, in the North East, the stat is 0.003 - it is an ultra safe Labour seat, ranked 646th in the country - out of 650 Shocked . My dad's vote is wasted every year.

In Oxford East, one person does not really have one vote, they have the equivalent of 0.802 votes.

Voters in Oxford East have 3.17x more voting power than the UK average.

It's a very marginal seat too, between Labour and Libdems. Last time it was a labour win by only 963 votes. Tories don't stand a chance here, thankfully.

Pah, i'm in Bucks where the speaker has his const. - hence the other major parties don't oppose him, consequently my vote is pretty much worth fuck all.

Indeed, Nigel Farage as speaker, just have to watch him in the European Parliament to see how good that'd be.
