well after being ill for a while, chest infection with what seemed to be a day flu chucked in the for good messure I passed it on to the misses... (however still got bad chest and dont feel great), she seems to have gone full on flu and can barely walk, talk , coughing, etc... so we decided last night that we wouldnt be doing anything.

I got a text from my dad about 8 saying he would be in the local at around 10 if I fancied a drink, but being a good husband replied that I was just going to have a couple beers at home and look after wifey.

several coronas later around 9:30 the selfish b*tch fell asleep soooooooo I sneaked out for a quick drink with my dad...

3:30 this morning a stumbled in.... my god we drank the bar out! (I think)

I remember getting there and normal talk, then downing several more beers (went onto bud as no corona)... missed the actual singing at midnight as was getting pretty done in there and time flew by, so then we christened the new year with shots... he went onto whiskey (being a scot) and i went onto sambucas.... doubles and lots and lots to the point that i vaguely remember things (I dont drink much anymore and can remember EVERYTHING from a night out, not today).

ended up with a teenager vomit session around 4 and got the full on room spin when trying to sleep, I was so gone I didnt even go with the down two pints of water and co-codamol before sleep which has always worked to curb the head in morning(not that it would help as that would of gone out bedroom window as well).

so this morning I wake at 8:30 with the irish dancers performing there best routine on my head, took the painkillers, had a pint of water and got in the shower where i fell asleep till now!!

head has eased a bit providing i dont move it... so here i am sat still facing a screen not moving to ease any potential head problems.... I might be moaning about my head but I know theres someone upstairs with a worse head than mine and not the one housing his (what must be tiny) brain...

my son got a kick in the nads (full on) in exchange for a cigarette last night... drunken idiot!

So what you guys get up to last night, alcohol consumed, stupid/cool things done and how you feling this morning??

I might just start another random topic as sat straight here not moving is doing wonders for hangover.

Last night we put little baby satan to bed. Bigshit was out with friends, Littleshit was at her dads. Mrs Pinky and I sat and watched Mrs Browns Boys on DVD and then Billy Connolly then went to bed.

No drinking, no hang over.

Went to friends house party, was the same as any other night except we all had to go and stand out in the street at midnight with her neighbours whilst somebody let off a couple of fireworks and one of those floating lantern things. It was awesome I expect we were the only people in the world who thought to celebrate in such a way.

Stayed over and cycled home this morning (12miles) so that I didn't get busted by the feds. Feel fine now though hangover cleared after first couple of miles.

I opened a bottle of vin rouge at about 10ish... Missus came in from work at half ten.

Watched the fireworks, before falling asleep at 1ish.

I am so hardcore.

No headache though (thank god, my 3 year old was up at 6.30).

I woke up on my bed the wrong way round, fully clothed and with a makeup smiley face on my face. Looked to the left to find my dog with her head on my chest and the cat sitting on my thigh Laughing

I was woken up to the words "get up Dr Dolittle" Very Happy

Welcome to 2012!

Had maybe 4 glasses of wine and watched The Dark Knight which continued, unabaited, through 12 o clock.

Got the all clear a little while ago about a certain medical issue so last night was my first time out drinking in over a year.

Managed to go from 8 till 5 in the morning and no hangover or headache (still partially deaf though) Very Happy judging from looking in the wallet though it seem I bought the contents of a whole brewery Neutral

I went to the local pub, which is a 2 mile walk so not as local as it might be. The walk is all off the road though and takes you over a big hill, where the view is rather good.

Didn't actually go until 2230 as i'm not good at going the distance while drinking at my usual pace. There was a live band, and despite going on my own, everybody was rather welcoming. Which is why I like the place. There was dancing, sort of.

Some suspicious looking shots were doing the rounds which I think may be used to explain why the walk home at 3am took so fucking long, there was much walking in small little circles, and giving considerations to several warm looking ditches and hedges, but I did make it eventually. Didn't break my maglite either, which is a very common occurrence on such expeditions.

Had a quick power nap on the kitchen floor, then another more significant one in a crumpled heap just inside my bedroom door.

Woke up with a sore neck about 6am, feeling decidedly dodgy which was confirmed by the sudden urge to chuck, which I did. In the correct place.

Two pints of water and into bed proper. Some fucked up dreaming but feel pretty good as of now. Thumbs Up

I've spent several NYE's sulking in front of the TV, and while going out and getting drunk with sweaty overly happy strangers isn't the best thing ever, I enjoyed last night.

Went to a nice elegant bar with a few mates, got absolutely smashed off cava and drinks, then at about 2am we went to a club for a few hours. The first bar was closed from 6am to 7am, then open from 7 to 11, so me and the only mate with stamina left went back to keep it going.
Met a 46 year old woman (I'm 22) who gave me a few cheeky lines of coke, and my god was it good coke Twisted Evil
My mate went home and I stayed with her, left at 10:45am back to hers. I've always wanted to shag someone in their 30s or 40s, and I finally got to do it. What better night than NYE?!
Did it live up to my expectations? Absolutely. Now I know what the fuss is about, they really do know what they're doing Razz
Got home at about 5pm today, I've slept 3 hours and feel fucking horrendous. Had a few tokes on a fag and almost projectile vomited...
All in all a very good new years party!

Started off in Kemptown, Brighton before heading off to Shoreham, saw Just A Couple of Mum's djing in one pub, had a boogie then off to another pub - with a load of bikers. Let off a few VERY loud bangers, had a laugh then around 1am we headed off to a house-party.

Spent a wee while texting people (Molly & Blackwolf included Laughing) once I got home to my bed in the wee hours this morning, trying to fight off the after affects of approx 5 cans of Relentless / Red Bull...

After having sporadic bits of sleep throughout the day, drinking gallons of tea and feasting on hot buttered popcorn, I'm actually feeling much more my usual self. 8o

With the rents up London with my nipper I proceeded to join my biker buds over in Southampton. Now our partys are never 'normal' - in fact there a bit wild. Promised myself I wouldnt drink much as I would be staying over, nothing worse then a train home with a heavy head.
However, the night seemed to drag - alot, I hit the cider, then the beers - Then the Disaronno came out.
I dislike marzipan/almond things, but they made it taste just like Cherry coke Which I loved muchly.
One of the guys was utterly wasted by 11pm, its typical of him.
Come bed time, 2.30am 4 of us were sleeping in the front room & me being me painted the 'wasted' guys face with eyeliner Laughing
I finally go to sleep, only to be woken by this 'rain' type noise Confused Only to realise it was this wasted guy standing up at the front room wall and pissing on it saying 'its a flower bed, its fine' Shocked Laughing
Was mortified at first, but I am laughing about it now. Never drinking Disaronno again as I was fairly rough this morning Laughing
Was a top night tho, one of the better NYE Ive had in a long time.

Hosted a party at my flat which was quite frankly tremendous. Stayed relatively sober until after the bells then just hit the cointreau, and hit it hard. Pulled the only girl there I'd never met before (seriously, punching WELL above my weight with this one) but was cockblocked by my mate passed out and not budging from my bed. Made everyone feel uncomfortable by groping her like a rapist on the sofa with no shame. Embarassed
Gave her my number and she's been hassling me all day.
Kitchen floor has about 50 burns through the lino, due to the abundance of free sparklers my mate got from homebase.

Had the lad rounds tonight as well, who were more than happy to share humourous anecdotes about the antics I don't recall. Thumbs Up Laughing
