Looking around for my first big bike and fell in love with the street tripple in black, but it is a bit out of my price range and I only wanted to spend 2k for first bike.

Is there any other naked bikes that have the same sort of style in black around 2k?

Cheers!!!!!

FZ6n you could probably pick up for around £2,500 if you can extend your budget. Insurance probably marginally cheaper as well.
IL4 engine rather than the Triumph's triple, about 15bhp less as well, but that certainly wouldn't put me off buying one. Infact I've been toying with the idea of getting one for quite a while.

The Hornet's a good option as well, probably more on the road so spares are plentiful.

Personally haven't ridden either due to typical age restrictions by most dealers on testrides, but both these bikes get excellent press from the owners on here.

Triumph Speed Four would be the nearest thing.

Have a search on here, I think someone's even selling a black one at the moment.

Beatnck2 is selling one, and very nice it looks too. I'd take it off his hands if I had the money Crying or Very sad

Wow, timing! Laughing

Yep, mines up for sale, purely because i fancy a change to a big trailie type bike.
Price is negotiable, send me a PM if interested.
There are a few people on here that can vouch that my bike is a safe buy Thumbs Up
