I got a slingy engine in my bandit. I bought it as a project. But the clutch cable doesnt do anything? I get resistance on the lever and i can see it moving up and down and rotating the push rod (think thats what its called) i can pull the rod out and spin it around. Put it into gear and it stalls.

If i put it on my paddock stand i can go into the gears but press the clutch lever in and wheel still spinning??? Iv tried pulling it manually at the top of the clutch cover but it cant go any higher in side. Im not afraid to use a spanner but im a noob to all this engine stuff i bought this project as a learning curve for me and this is stopping me from riding it. Any help would be great cheers.

Heres a few picces the pin thing is a temporay pin to hold it on.
