Hello All,

I'm a born again biker coming back to the fold after years in the wilderness

I went along to the Heart of England bike show yesterday at Gaydon (in the car as it happens..... it's a long story).

Anyway, I came away on a high and raring to go.

I got myself a test ride on a Yamaha naked XJ6, which was great fun - loved it, while being assessed by a BikeSafe police observer and hey, it turns out I'm not nearly as rusty as I thought I was

I'm booked onto a BikeSafe course and I met up with some guys (and a gal) from the Cov/Warks IAM group (great bunch) as I want to do an advanced course to become a better rider than I ever was before. I really want to do things right this time around

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi.
I've been picking up tips and info here for a couple of months (I actually posted a couple of times under another username but as I couldn't change it from the lame one I made up on the spot when I registered, I've reregistered under my old biking nickname ).

I want to use the bike for so much more than I ever did before, meets, rideouts, holidays - bring it on!

Hope to meet some of you over the coming months (and years?)
