Clutch friction plates

The clutch on my NTV is starting to slip like a bastard, so I'm looking at popping new friction plates in.

Wemoto stock a load of EBC sets - SRK, SRC and CK, aswell as a Kyoto set.

Any words of widsom as to what I should be looking at? SRK blurb suggests it's worth replacing the metal plates aswell - is there any real point? The clutch is only on about 40k, so I'd have thought they'd still be fine?

As regards the Kyotos - is this a case of buy cheap buy twice or can I probably get away with £30 cork friction plates?

EBC plates have always performed well for me, in assorted bikes including the 600 Revere I had. Replacement of the metal plates will depend on the level of wear and warp. If they're within the limits, no need to replace them and unless you really want to.

The clutch in my GPX was really slipping when i got it. Took it to bits, and the cork plates were fine, so replaced the springs, and its good as new. Saves a few £'s, so worth a go if you're hard up.
