Yamaha Virago XV535 (first reg 1993, 9900 miles, Oxford)

I'm selling my Yamaha Virago XV535 for £1750. Oxford area.

This bike was first registered in 1993 and was sold to me in February/2009. It now has about 9900 miles and an MOT until March 2011. It is in mint condition!

Asking price: £1750.

- 535cc V-Twin engine (44bhp);
- registered in 1993 (larger tank than older models) [not an import!];
- new rear tyre;
- new steering bearings;
- new spark plugs;
- 6 months old battery (kept charged);
- v-max style mirrors (way better looking and more functional than mickey mouse originals);
- shaft drive (much less work than chains);
- garaged when not in used and kept clean and lubricated;
- MOT until March/2011;
- road tax until May/2011;

This is a great entry level cruiser that's lightweight and has a low centre of gravity. Great for beginners too, for those that like the style.
I used this bike for about one year for a bit of everything and I must say it's a little sad to let it go.
