Do you actually mean 'popping up' or just mean that you can see ads?

I jut installed these add-ons, Ad Blocker, Ad Blocker Plus & Firefox Adkiller.

Sure i probably don't need them all buy get no ads now.

Yes it in the shape of a stop sign and its currently red.

Is it worth just uninstalling it and getting a different one?

Edit: Sorted now. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working now.
