How accurate are restrictors?

I was just wondering, seeing as il probably buy a bike and get it restricted, how accurate restrictors are. Will they always put the bike at the legal level? Il probably do this myself and then run it round the corner and get it dyno'd for a bit o' proof

Proof means nothing. No legal requirement to have it provided the bike is restricted.

You could make your own restriction certificate in word and save yourself the £30 from the dyno run.

Yeh, well the 2ish grand going from zero to hero means a 30 quid dyno printout is nothing on that. It was just to flash at any funny coppers that want to be an arse , that being said, the cops around here cant have much work to do so are probably all happy like. But yeh, if its slightly over then surely that makes it illegal for me to ride...


I might be looking too much into this anyway.
