We tomorrow is D-Day for me. I set off for my tour of where ever I want to go for 3 weeks! Been planning this for months and I would say 80% of me cant wait and 20% of me is shitting myself haha.

My little XR will be carrying an extra 20ish KG in my bags and tank bag which notice when riding. I wonder how my 125 will deal with the next few weeks!

Solo touring... wish me luck Ill give you guys a good write up once im done!

I dunno if you can set the pre-load up on your bike, but if you can it's worth considering. I had loads of weight far too far back on my KTM and it really messed up the handling - however I tend to be not bad at working around such problems. To some degree it might have been good too in that it kept my speed down to not too silly in the Alps etc.
