silly question probably but iv just got it (chopped in the 6) and have had sooo much fun since i last been logged in (ages ago/crash/hospital/6 months off work etc)

basically i ride to work at 5 in the morning, and its a bit nippy. Normally after a 5 minute warm up im on the road for 10-15 minutes, then onto the M2 for about 20.

the concern is engine temp (oil temp is a bigger concern)
seeing as the roads are empty i used to give it a bit of a blip now and then.

but my temp guage seems to like to stay well under 60 degrees C

During a normal day it would eventually get up to temp but it never really stays constant no matter how i ride at what speed vs any time of day.

my old bike would hover about 66/70 even in the morning nastiness, so now my 'blipping' has all but gone!

more am i worried as this bikes internal organs, being the new owner to this, well...animal?

do you think this is normal? do you think its not?

do you even care?

id like to know and thank you in advance for any help.

cheers guys
