And brought one new one, a 2011 Triumph Speedmaster.

I wanted something that would slow me down a bit. Something to tour on and look at the scenery. I've only ridden it for a hour or so and I'm glad I brought it. I had free flowing slash exhausts fitted and it sounds superb, a nice deep tone with an occasional backfire.

It definitely is a lot slower than other bikes I've owned but I haven't stop smiling yet. Even the sun came out for me.

I'm not sure I could live with it every day but it's certainly a piece of art. Thumbs Up

I seemed to have timed the adverts for my bikes really well, just in the middle of the sunny weather. I sold three bikes in just over a week. One for about the right money, another for £700 more than I paid two years ago and one, amazingly, for 4 times more than I paid. Laughing

I've owned a few cruisers over the years but I enjoy the power of a sportsbike. Commuting at 120mph and overtaking every other vehicle on the road was just getting too much, I'm done with it, for now.

I was talking about Triumph's choice of title for the bike, it was meant in jest. Razz

I know what you mean. Its almost as over the top as some of the Chinese bikes. Laughing I don't know if it a historic name?

I reckon that the Japanese should go down the same route. Bikes with real names rock.

I dont mind those types of bikes, but they are too heavy for me to live with. So comfy to ride.

That is not as camp as most cruisers, especially Japanese ones.

Enjoy!

But you have to rag a 125 everywhere. I know I used to with mine. Don't thrash the tits off the 600 like I did with the 125, although I do ofc go faster.
