After my crash earlier today, me and milo have removed most of the fairing from my 2001 nsr just leaving on the front light fairing. On saturday we are going to be cutting the bottom third off along the line just below the fox eye.

Its going to look so strange hasnt even got a single mention of nsr left on it.....

but it will still run which is the whole point apart from the brakes...

The brakes dont come on until the brake lever is depressed 1/2 the way then they come on heavily caused lock ups, any ideas of whast wrong>? air bubble seems fine for brake fluid.

Hi

An air bubble would normally just leave the brakes very soft, but not explain them coming on suddenly. Check for damage to the brake line (something which could cause internal damage), and also check that the master cylinder and caliper are OK. Check that the front brake disk is not bent (hold front wheel in air and spin it, and check for runout).

Oh, and definatly bleed the brakes!

All the best

Keith
