I know of an NSR150SP, which is the one with the single sided swingarm. Never heard of an NSR125SP though. I suppose it could just have a flashy factory paintjob or something?

The 2nd one is definately a 150. The top one looks like it just has a fancy paintjob and single seat, I expect the engine is the same as any other NSR

I have seen an NSR125R which had a kick start and no electric start, and I think that might have been badged an SP. Only ever seen one though.

Hi that sounds like mine, also it has adjustable rear suspension and i have heard the engine is different, looks like a normal nsr though, aprently they are quite rare, mines an import from italy! i'm legal to ride it in november can't wait, here is some piccies of it,

If I remember correctly, a few years back Aprilia made SP versions of the RS125. They were basically the same bike without an electric starter to reduce weight and I was told that the engine was slightly more tuned, a couple more BHP. Nice bike by the way, look after it and buy lots of fully synth!

The other differences with the SP version of the RS125 were better tyres (I think), lighter wheels (Marchesini I think), higher quality shock, catch tank for oil spills (requirement for racing).

For years Gilera used to sell there race rep 125s with the electric start being an optional extra.

Kickstart
Lighter Wheels
Adjustable Shock
Race Plastics (no lights etc)
Liquid Retaining Tank / Catch Tank

Hmm, i have seen 1 in rl and it didnt have any front h-lamps, n theres that guy on prilla forum wit his SP which also had no front h/light just tha spot light he put in.

Hmm, i wonder if the 1 seen and one in that pic have been bought as SP bikes ran race plastics and then just had lights whacked onto the plastics.

I aint ever seen a new one, they will have both been 5-6yrs old. Least i found that out.
