bruise Evil or Very Mad

Ok ok, you say so what big deal. For me it is, I have bruised about 3 times in my life the two previous times from operations!

Ok the bruise is tiny and hardly noticable (its about 7mm by 4mm) and only a slight shade of blue on my finger, but still!

Pigging mini motos - guess thats what happens when you end up flying through the air into tyres etc. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Still want a mini moto now though. Very Happy

Me awaits better footage from my crash. Very Happy

I've got a decent sized shiner on my right shin, plus a scrape on my heel, from when I crashed into Korn coming off the straight. Laughing

I wonder if it means I'm getting soft or just old though. I mean my crash wasn't that bad was it. Laughing

Mind you my neck and wrist and buggered ribs may argue. Laughing I felt like a right old man this morning trying to roll out of bed. Laughing

Seems like Gav's got more than a bruise.....he just got back and I was looking to see if his ribs looked bruised and ones hanging lower than the other!!! Shocked

Looks like he may have broke one or two! Shocked

Shocked

No way!! Gav did seem to be in quite a lot of pain for just a bruise. The crash was deffinately extreme enough to have done more damage though Confused He must have been doing like 30mph...

Ahh ribs break too easy, not to worry I got plenty. Laughing

Didn't stop me riding the second session or going out or doing the thong moto on the sunday. Laughing

I'm still not impressed by my little bruise though - the ribs are a minor point. Laughing

Well Seen V the other day and her profesional opinion on my ribs was "there buggered", which was nice. At least it was in terms I can understand. Laughing

It would seem at least I've got 2 cracked ribs, but not to worry. My neck and wrist are now fine, though I still have that small bruise on my finger Evil or Very Mad , oh and a couple of broken ribs. Laughing

Oh so when we doing it agian! I wana go again. Very Happy

Might it not be worth getting a doctor to check up on them to see if they can do anything?

Can't do anything for bruises mate, oh you mean my ribs. Laughing

All they could do is strap them up, I've now broke my ribs 3/4 times in various places. Basically as they ain't too far out of position (in fact they are in position just a tad swollen) theres no point.

Well he has lasted this long so clearly it didn't puncture his lung Very Happy thats always a good sign.

I think all the docs say is 'sit back and have a few easy days' You may have been able to blag some days off work with sick pay etc. No point now though, they are probably half way to being mended.

Takes approx two months I've found for my ribs to be fully right again after breaking them.

I can take time off work whenever I want mike and get sick pay - one advantage of my job.

I'm not there today after been away on business yesterday I'll go in tomorrow though as I have to get my bike MOT'd which is near to work! Fun riding with buggered ribs. Laughing
