Hello

Any ideas on this?

I've got an alarm with a tilt sensor and I've got the tilt sensor down to its lowest sensitivity (by adjusting a screw on it) but still, every time a certain bike drives past - or a big loud noise happens I assume (although right now its only when a neighbour drives past on his big bike), the alarm triggers.

However, it takes a reasonable wobble of the bike to trigger it manually, so it seems like its sound that can set it off for some reason (I guess a certain vibration can trigger it)

So, any ideas how to make an alarm less sensitive? I was thinking of wrapping the sensor up in tissue or something then gluing it back in place???

Anyone had similar issues?

This MAY sound stupid, but depending on the type of sensor it is using for it's 'tilt' operation..

Try rotating the sensor by 90 or 180 degrees.. (looking down on the bike from above)

Also.. do you park your bike on the side stand or a centre stand (if you're using a centre stand or paddock stand then my idea above will probably have no affect) Razz

Hi there.

Thanks for the reply.

The bike is parked on its main stand all the time.

The tilt sensor in question, in the installation manual said something that it must be at no greater angle than 45 degrees, and facing up.

I've got it attached to the plastic underbelly.

Its possible that moving it to the frame or something more sturdy than plastic, will reduce the vibrations...
