hiya guys and girls.

wondering if someone could give me some help. my partner has a Gilera Runner SP 125 and at the moment shes not starting.

he bought the bike start of march and the bike was going great until we went on holiday 3 weeks ago and the bike sat for two weeks and when we came home the fella started her took her to work for four days without any problems, until monday there of this week she was going fine.

monday morning couldnt get her started, shes wanting to fire up but she dosent. you can only get her going if you try about four or five times. and you can hear that shes wanting to fire up as soon as you press the button (to start her)

we thought it was the battery checked it out and stuck it on charge (bike charger 6 volts or amps its the bike one) and the battery was dead so went and bought a brand new battery put it in the bike and she started on the second time round (this was yesterday) but now its back to doing the same thing wont start until the third or fourth attempt.

a friend cleaned the carb and jets and told us to get a new battery as it sounded like the problem. weve checked the batterys enough water etc, no loose wires.

would really really appreciate some advice from your guys its his first bike and strangely loves it to bits. lol thanks in advance.

amanda (i have no idea about bikes but do like bikes)
