After fifteen years out of the saddle following two assasination attempts by white-van hit-men, my bottle has returned and I've bought a 2006 1200 Bandit K6.

Something of 1) a miserable old miser and 2) a pedantic bugger when it comes to missing bits, I've been trying to find something to cover up the hole on the offside of the frame where the swing-arm shaft appears. It seems that Suzuki manufacture the proper caps from the same material as Mont Blanc who produce the £150 plastic pens (sorry - precious resin!!) with a price which reflects the apparent bottomless pockets of it's customers.

Does anyone know if I can replace with scrap units from other years / models of Bandit or if there is something else which would fit?

I knew those cans would come in handy someday but, like everything else I hung onto for years, I've binned 'em all in the last few months. The black caps from the alloy cans would have done the job I think. Sad
