After lots of nagging and "trust me, I won't be a dick on it" the old man finaly let me take his R1 for a ride. Now I know its not a 98 R1, but its an awsome bike all the same Laughing

After doing about 10 miles of lovely winding roads I jumped back on my 99 gsxr 600 and and felt sad.

The R1 just felt so easy to ride compared to my bike, which now feels like hard work. I was also impressed with the power which is almost instant and hard right to the red line.

I also had a shit myself moment when I give it a fist full in 2nd at 9k and the front wheel effortly lifted from the road.

Can't wait to get back on the thing now, I can see how easy it is to be doing 140+ and not even relise

You don't jump on a bike like that and not have a play Laughing
