Hey guys and gals,
Bit of a lame-o post here but want to ask if anyone would be willing/able/patient enough to meet up with me for a ride for a couple of times??

Thing is, I'm hoping to do my CBT as soon as bloody possible and would like to go for a ride with an experienced biker to get a few on-road tips.

I live in Bristol and have a Suzuki GP100 so nothing fancy...

Cheers all

Just to clarify - are you wanting to ride pillion, or to ride your bike before you have passed your cbt?
If you want to ride your bike but have not passed your CBT, it is illegal unless accompanied by an officially qualified instructor - though over 99.99% of bikers ride illegally at some point, a lot more look down on things like this.

If you go for a ride with someone be sure to go at you own pace
and be aware a lot of people have bad habits that you might learn.

Sounds like he wants to ride his bike without having passed a CBT.

It's not a test you know mate, it's a piece of piss, just basic training...

Oxford?!

Never seen you in the SE section... Whereabotus in Oxford? I'm usually up there on Monday nights to get drunk and there's fair few good roads there. I'm only 30 minutes away!

And the OP is saying she/he wants to pass the CBT then go have a ride with an experienced rider to pick up some tips.

Depending on the person, this may not be a good idea Laughing
