I don't think there are any restrictions. It's a 4t 125 designed to put out 14.6bhp or whatever to be learner legal.

It isn't restricted, it's just a slow 4t commuter bike with a body kit.

2 stroke 125s are restricted, unrestricted they put out somewhere in the region of 20-35bhp.

It's not worth trying to tune it, enjoy it until you can do your test and buy something bigger...

Not in anyway restricted. Engine will make 14.6Hp, and that is it.

Yamaha dealer tell you that? Told my friend that too.

Tuck up as much as possible.

Starve.

Sell it and buy an RS125.

4 stroke 125's are not restricted. There is no point.

You can make them faster but the amount of money it would cost makes it totally not worthwhile.

Stick a smaller front sprocket on it, it wont make it faster it'll drop the max speed a little but it'll accelerate a bit quicker other than that there's fuck all you can do.

I hope it annoys you that my DT cost less, goes faster and is generally more fun. Mr. Green

Yeah it's a really good looking bike and i bet it handles well too, but if your looking for something that can be tinkered with and is still learner legal you should of got something else.

My advice is learn on it, pass your test asap and buy a bigger bike Thumbs Up
That would impress your mates Cool

Do your test and get something bigger.

The £400 could be used to make your R125 slightly faster, or it could be used to do your test which will allow you to ride something much faster. An easy choice really. Smile

in the cdi which makes it go like a extra 10mph if your lucky,it just costs about £400 for the dealer to do ;D

failz as my cg goes as fast as your bike xD

no way does mr honda cg keep up with mrs R125.
if so i'd love to see it, my friends R125 tears away from me, im on a KH125, which can keep up with a CG no worries...

Obviously its not a powerhouse, but its probably the most powered stock 4 stroke, you would be lucky to get a genuine 11hp from a cg..

I take my CBT next friday, although i'm starting to wonder if they teach anything about road safety and what the national speed limit is when i see posts like this one.

I can just see you now on your yzf wearing jeans, trainers and a superdry jacket with an iphone in your trouser pocket ready to go up your jacksie when you inevitably come off.
