Hhhmmm can anyone see him competing on the Yamaha. I know its down to the rider but that bike doesnt seem to be in the same league as the Honda. I want to see him at Ducati.

I reckon that it would good for the future of MotoGP (especially Yamaha) if Rossi can help with development etc., but I personally can't see him winning on his debut year (if he does indeed sign).

In the meantime, have you seen Biaggi's new ride for next season?

If the rumours are true then Rossi has already gone to Yamaha. Although it could be a cunning ploy to get Honda to pay over the odds for him.

Guess we'll find out soon enough Very Happy

I fancy Rossi on a Honda and nothing else, wether it's a 2 stroke or 4 stroke. Rossi=Honda Honda=Rossi

If Rossi makes the switch to Yamaha, it would be a great lep forward for Yamaha teams, but Honda's image will be surely tarnished by his absence.

I would like to see Rossi on a Yamaha using a BMW engineered engine with all that formula 1 technology. Now that would be something.

Regards,
Kevo.

Guys,
Rossi is bored, he wastes the competition too easily. He was talking about giving up bikes and going rallying. I reckon a move to yamaha would be good for him as it would provide a challenge.
He won't move to Ducati yet, cos he (says) that he'd never ride for a tobacco sponsored team - maybe Yamaha have got a sponsorship change in the offing.
Whatever happens Rossi is cool and Biaggi is crap. Smile

A few weeks ago he said that its not the sponsorship that matters its the ride...

And luke - he's always said that he would love to ride a Ducati...

I personally would love to see rossi move to another team. It would prove that it's the rider and not the bike so much. Rossi has the talent to win races on a machine not so advanced as the RCV.

I really and truly think that he should stick with Honda. What Honda should do is imrpove his current machine RC211V or re-design it, or bring out a new bike!!
Research & Development is a continuously ongoing phenomenon.

So they should bring out a new bike, just like that?

They are developing the bike theyve got at the moment which they reckon, well (mcn) reckons will one day be running at 280bhp, i know thats a tad optimistic but to say they should re-design it or bring out a new one is a bit crazy. And Rossi aint considering a switch cos the RCV aint good enough its more to do with the fact that its not a challenge winning on it. Rolling Eyes

Word on the street is that the big H are bringing out a V6 that will be heavier than the V5 (extra cylinder weight penalty) but will punt out 250bhp+

That would be a sight to see Very Happy

Doubt they'd bring it out for a few more years yet. Theyre dominating it at the moment with the V5. I dont doubt theyre working on v6 but i cant see them bringing it out until everyone else is at least on the level. Although Ducati might just force them to bring something out.

Rossi said he's waiting for HRC to make him their final offer after the next race. After then I guess we'll know. I kinda hope he goes to Yamaha - a bit of a challenge would be good to watch Very Happy

Yeah but at Yamaha? I want him at Ducati, it will be a challenge getting used to that new bike and i wouldnt mind seeing him beat every other Honda out there which he is capable of doing on the Duc.
