hi all, got my mod 1 at 8:15 tomorrow morning cant wait to get it passed! had a couple of practice sessions on the one in atherton, im really happy with it, just got to not f*ck up tomorrow!

my mod 2 is on friday also looking forward to it just afraid of making a stupid mistake now, or have some tool in a van make things difficult for me etc etc but all the same confident with it.

anyone else think that kawasaki er5's were designed to crush your bollox and kill your knees? no just me? im long int leg mind but its like the seat is sloped into the tank im like wtf is this bull crap?!

got the new bike delivered saturday! its a fazer fzs600 99' reg 11k on the clock, meta alarm, full service history, one LADY! owner Smile scott oiler etc etc, mint condition never seen salt, all for just 1900 from hunts honda in manchester. steal ill have that thankya very much. finance as well at 6% flat. Smile

couple of pics to follow.

anyway anyone got any advice for the mod 2? im pretty happy with mod one and mod 2 but i still have my reservations about mod 2.

any and all advice welcomed.

Hope all went well today, nice bike and honestly don't fret about mod 2 it's just nice enjoyable ride out like you have done before, treat instructor like a pal on comms and just make sure your ob's are plentiful, it fly's by and sure you'll have no probs.

Re. Van or anyone else fookin it up, i had a bus pull out on me on roundabout, i stopped (didn't fancy chances in fight) then he stopped and waved me on i stalled it, but got started straight away and instructor said dealt with it fine and not failure so there is bit of room for little things but sure you'll storm it, keep smiling, enjoy and talk things thru in helmet always makes things easier!! All the best!!

cheers everyone! yeh passed it with no minors, feeling really confident. thanks jdm yeh ive been told to just have 'a nice ride out' and keep the checks coming everytime i feel i could do with one, even if there is only a slight chance of a change, do the checks. right mirror shoulder left mirror shoulder etc etc etc. i know that some instructors are bad and good etc but at the ed of the day if you look safe and comfortable then its all good.

the bikes wicked. i work on an industrial estate (motor trader) so im there late when no ones around. took it for a spin on saturday... foccin fast! wow. got to 70 in seconds couldnt believe the difference lol cg to fzs... cant wait cant stop polishing it! it is sat there waiting for me to catch up and bag a license!

I thought you had to pass mod 1 before being able to book mod 2? Question

No you can book both, but you need to pass mod 1 before doing mod 2. If you fail mod 2 you have to have at least a 10 day gap between the fail and the retest.
