Drain your carb, it's probably full of water. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

the needle doesnt go up when you accelerate? eh!!
take the carb off and clean it out, sometimes draining it will solve the problem but not always.
when you say the petrol 'flamed' did you mean it fired if you tipped petrol down the plug hole? if so then it is definately a carb prob... strip it and clean it well ____________________ ZX636C6F road. ZX636C1H track. ZX7R redundant. ZX0.5R minimoto as ornament.

Looking at eBay, a replacement 50cc kit is about £80, 70cc is around the £100. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

or just get another 50cc kit that will last, or £30 for a 60cc rebore and oversized rings.
these 70cc, 80cc kits are rubbish... and they dont do many miles... its also hard to get the mixture right unless you use pre-mix in the tank.
they dont even do much to the performance... puts the top speed up by about 4mph cos it revs to 14RPM insted of 13RPM...
wooo...
even still... alot of the 50cc full kits are around £100 anyway... ____________________ Gilera SC 125 - Current |

also if you dont have the right mods, you will probly lose power in 6th as there not a very good gear for picking up speed...
i can push 25mph out of mine in 1st gear, but thats me kinda being a hypocrite cos i took it off the clock to find that out ____________________ Gilera SC 125 - Current |
