Do i use the Manufacturer date or do i use the first uk registration date?

Im guessing i use the first uk registration date as when i use the manufacture date, the correct model bike isnt shown...?

Can anyone confirm this for me please before i go and spend £££ on insurance that'll be worthless should anything happen...

Cheers
Looney

Hi

Manufacturer date or date of first registration I would expect. Date of first UK registration when it has been floating around for years / decades abroad is fairly irrelevant.

All the best
