Yeah but being 2nd on the grid doesnt actually count for that much, Rossi had poll yesterday and because he's shitty at starts ended up being fith or fourth, i cant remember?

It will be good for the racing if he's on a yam, but bad for him. Yes, he will be at the top end and will win races but I very much doubt he'll get the championship if he's on a Yam. If he is then my money for next years champ would go on either Gibernau of Capirossi.

I think he's more cautious than anything as the first corner is usually most likely part of the race to get knocked off the bike. I was only highlighting that the Yam's potential and can be ridden to a top competitive level if rossi was to ride that bike he has enough talent to make it a winner.

If they can get the handling sorted so that Rossi can chuck it around like his RCV then im sure he will win the title on it despite it being slower? He's better than anyone else going around corners and i cant see the bike being too off the pace. Basically Rossi will win on anything.
