I,ve got a aluminum bike radiator which l,m trying to clean up but being 24 years old it has a lot of rust and crap inside the matrix, l,ve flushed out what l can with water but there is still alot of thick rusty crap on the inside.

Any ideas of what l can use that powerful enough to clear most of the crap out, found a thread on ADV rider saying to use battery acid (Sulfuric acid) but from memory that reacts with aluminum to produce hydrogen gas!

Caustic Soda? Like what they do with exhausts, I don't know if it would be too harsh on it.
