Whether he's got 40 years of experience or 40minutes, if you don't agree with his views he will just act like a child and try to provoke some sort of argument with you.

As far as I'm concerned, he's not needed on this forum. And the karma system seems to be showing that.

Quote:
Sounds like your forum had a visit from Grosvenor.
He tours all motorcycle forums, and starts wars, eventually gets himself banned and moves onto the next forum. Once he's done a loop he goes back to the beginning and starts again.
To be fair he is not that bad, he is just very opinionated about biking and very intolerant of other opinions, and gets abusive when opposed. Causes chaos, he hasn't been here now for three years, but still anyone who was on these forums at that time remembers him, and are still quick to point the finger at new posters that might be him.

No it's not good advice, he's telling people not to allow test rides which is a load of bollocks. Rolling Eyes

Its not that what he said was invalid, its the way that he comes in and immediately insults 90% of the members of this forum. He contradicts himself, deliberately courts controversy and tries to get a rise out of people.

He doesn't post useful stuff to be helpful, he posts what useful stuff he supposedly knows in order to try to ingratiate the forum to him. It hasn't worked and he's not worth an entire thread TBH.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I haven't read his stuff, but reading his description, there's quite a few on here like him.

If people didn't 'bite' there would be no trolls.

It was obvious what Grosvenor was here for & yet people will reply & try to argue why he's wrong. Why? If he was a member of BCF for several years & then made a thread about 'Bike meets are shit' then i could understand. But for a member that's just signed up to get a reaction & indeed he got one, just seems like people really are feeding the trolls.

Even more so when someone posted a link which showed Grosvenor goes around various forums doing the same thing.

Old Thread Alert!
