Steal Deal for a 'Triumph Daytona 675 2007 model'

I just bought a 2007 Tona with 1,300 mile on it with Triumph race exhaust, grey and in perfect condition. It was on AutoTrader from a guy in Matlock. £4,400. I've seen 2006 models with 10,000 mile knocking out for £5,250 so this make it a mega deal.

1300 miles, what's wrong with it? Ex race bike? Its also very easy to swap clocks on the 675. Check the chain, brakes, tyres... for levels of use.
Has it been serviced every year? Got a MOT?
I hope you've got a very good deal there. Maybe we are all getting old and suspicious.

I met the guy at his house, seems very genuine, knew lots about the bike and told me where he bought it from. I've done the usual bike checks etc and all checks out....what you think? I've only put a 200quid deposit down.

Hi yeah I checked the bike over, pads have lots of life left, chain is neat, body work perfect. The colour of the triple pipes comming from the engine still look chrome and not discoloured. It very well looked after.

Must admit all the replys really have my head running wild now thinking its a fake but seems genuine and so does the bike. My brother in law works for the Police so I could ask him to peform some checks ???

I did ask why he was selling to his face as I did say this seems to good to be true, he plainly said I never get time to use it so money is better than a bike sitting in the garage. If I've been to his house and it turns out to be a ringer then he's fk'd yeah ???

he told me he insure's the bike vai ebike.com so that you pay monthly..bit more expensive but you pay for what u need instead of paying for winter months. Thats advice he gave me so that was also helpful.

I've had a police check performed by my bro, I've phoned Triumph World in Chesterfield where it was bought, they can vouch for the address and name "I GAVE THEM" and they can vouch for the service and the extra's it had installed Me so so so happy.
