My ex-boss ws absolutely adamant that his worked.

I've never used them and can't really see how it would do much, maybe a placebo effect I don't know.

Most real scientific literature (i.e. peer reviewed and published in journals) suggests that they do absolutely nothing other than make you look like a tard. There is however a placebo affect that can be illicited with non magnetic wristbands too.

Save your £ and spend it on beer/petrol.

The other three guys at work had them on, one had one on each wrist.

Apart from looking stupid and leaving a nasty green sludgy stain on your wrist, I think they do the sum total of fuck all. Also a good risk for a de-gloving injury, no matter how soft a metal they think copper is.

The wearers all claimed they felt better because of them though, I think it is all in your head, the mind is a very powerful thing people don't always consider.

The magnetic bands have a positive use.
Some medical study on them IIRC said that they about halved the painkiller usage of the people wearing them. Can't find it right now but I remember hearing it on radio 5 Live.

Thumbs Up

I occasionally wear one and it works really well for helping me remember where I have put the photo part of my driving licence etc.
