I've never been a footie fan (a straight man who hates footie?? Shock horror!!)... and don't have much interest in the tennis either.
I'm pretty much just a petrol head - MotoGP, BSB, WSB, F1, WRC rallies etc, then throw in a healthy dose of the Discovery channel, and I'm happy!! ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

Its all the companies that have jumped on the England FC bandwagon. I've lost count of the number of products proudly sponsoring the English team.
Ken Bruce mentioned this morning, electronic retailers North of the border are offering £10 off for every goal England scores on flat screen tellies. In the past they'd be offering £10 off for every goal scored against England.
Although they might be shooting themselves in the foot...
There just seems to be a lot more hype this year about the whole thing. And on the football in particular I couldn't care less if Scotland are in it, but why are they airing all the pro-England ad's up this way? I don't remember there being that many last time round. Was Scotland in it last time?
I don't know, might as well be ping pong for all I know.
