YBR 125 warped disc, warranty?

Hi all, I recently purchased an '08 YBR 125 which has seen some good use, 11k to be precise but other than use-consistent wear and tear, and of course this issue everything is fine.

The bike still has a little warranty left and I wondered if Yamaha would honour a claim for a warped disc?

The disc is 0.28mm warped and it pulses under braking.

It's worth a try but they'll probably say it's rider error or something.

Yep they will, they did for me.

They asked if i had a lock on there etc and i just denied it all, and they replaced it for free! New disk, bolts and pads iirc

I had the disk on my YBR replaced under warrenty for this. I actually took it to the dealer for a different reason; the mechanic went out on it for test ride and came back and said that the disk was warped. Got it booked in no bother.

Cheers all, I will speak to the local dealer tomorrow and get it in for a service as it is just about due anyway.

Warranty expires next Sunday so fingers crossed!
