I've got a Yamaha YBR 125 so it's got a O-Ring chain, and I picked up what was the only degreaser in the shop, Yoshimoto Phoxitoph, but after reading it and the interwebs telling me to be careful in case I knacker the seals -

is it ok to use on my Chain - I can't really 'test it on a small spot' as it says on the can Confused

If not, why doesn't the flippin can say so? Question

I've cleaned most of the cack off the chain and re-lubed it anyway, but like a nice sparkly chain (maybe that's from having to clean crud off the mountain bike chain Rolling Eyes )

Use paraffin, it's cheaper and fine with O rings. Even Yamaha recommend it. Just dry the chain thoroughly when you're done. Thumbs Up

Haven't used to Yoshimoto stuff, so I cant comment on that...

I use Motul Chain Cleaner and an old toothbrush with effective results
