I think my local mechanic has done one on me. I go there with a coolant problem... (My bike drinks coolant like no tomorrow, and it never ends up back in the tank...)

I tell him this, he charges me £120 for a service and says he can't find anything wrong with it. Except when I take it back home later that day, my back brake is fucked, which nearly caused me to end up on the floor later that evening.

So I go back there the next day, saying what the fucks happend to my back brake? It was fine yesterday and I also mentioned my bike kept blowing fuses.

Straight away, he says oooh we're dealing with a whole different problem, and I was like well it's an issue, but it wouldn't be causing engine failure would it? So he says well it could do if it's on the ingniton side of things :S. So I said well whatever, look over the electrics for me, and he said he'd sort my back brake out; which was otherwise immaculate and fine the previous 24 hours.

Again, the electrics are apparently fine, and my coolant has returned to where it was. I open the tank today and it's fucking lower then it was when I took it in.

I learnt a lot of places won't take older 2 stroke bikes, because they're an agg, and a lot rarer then 4 strokes.

Anyway, the bike's going to an official aprilia dealer soon, in London. Croydon rejected me, although a low mileage bike they won't work on anything more then 4 years old.

The mechanic also said to me, come back when you have a significnt fault you can pick up on. How fucking more significant can engine failure be? What else is supposed happen? It trys talking to me before it conks out?

He also said on the last occasion with me "Bikes aren't like cars, they have a mind of their own" I was like.....right... Eh?

My dad paid the bill first day I got it back after the 'service' I'm thinking of going down there and arguing for my money back, any advice?
