Points on a CD200

Its a benly TA, 6v model, as you may know from previous posts... Embarassed

Where are the points located on this bike? I've had a brief look about, but dont want to start just attacking it with the socket set...

Looking at pictures, I would say left hand side, there is a circle cover on the side of the bottom end of the engine. 4 bolts. I reckon they will be in there.

It's not easy getting points on a CD200 unless you go for something easy like a defective tyre or no insurance.

Firstly, Cheers Allymoss, I suspected that was the location, but wasn't 100%...

The very first bike I ever rode was a 1981 Honda CM200 over the local park at night.

I did everything my mate told me except put it into gear. So when I opened the throttle, let the clutch out and picked my feet up, I just toppled over onto my side and lay gurgling under the bike.

The second attempt was only slightly better!
