I thought it was going to be a story about fitting a 'mental' turbo to one, but no, it's all about probes n' shit.

I don't know why they didn't just name it '98 R1 to guarantee success...

It's Japanese for peregrine falcon. Its for sampling asteroid material and hopefully bringing some back, although I don't think they'll know if it's worked until it has returned!

Marketing blurb. They claim that they got the inspiration from seeing a falcon take a blackbird on the wing and thus was the 'Blackbird killer'. I haven't researched it but I did read somewhere that Hayabusa doesn't translate exactly to falcon as people think.

In GTA4 the busa-alike is called the 'Hakuchou' which is Jap-o-knees for 'swan'. The Hell's Angels dude pronounces it 'Haku-coochie-koo' Laughing

Hayabusa is the japanese name for the Peregrine falcon, fastest bird int he world. We get them in Britain too.

I guess they will take most small birds out of the air along with small lizards and mammals.

I saw a red kite the other day, came to investigate my beach bbq, awesome bird!

You see loads of the buggers along the High Wycombe stretch of the M40.
