my little brother has one of these and has managed to cross thread the spark plug in the head. the threads are pretty much non existant.

is a helicoil/time sert our only option?

a replacment head is out of the question.
would cost more than he paid for the bike.

is there any stores local to glasgow that carries helicoils?
would rather speak to someone face to face about them before i buy.

lumiweld or HTS2000 would do the trick.

local bike place helicoiled it for a tenner.

just about to put it back together.
