he invented Lego as a toy his kids could play with that was non-violent as an alternative to toy soldiers.

He must have been somewhat retarded if he never thought kids would make bunkers and stuff out of it to complement their toy soldiers.

Holy crap, those are AWESOME!

I would be willing to pay a fair wad of cash for one of those. I used to make working guns ou of K'Nex. They were never that impressive though! (Although they were much more powerful that those lego guns). More of a pull back and let go to fire, type thing, rather than having working magagine / trigger mech.
