Yes you will need to jet the new carb to suit its application... they cant for-read the future...

45mph clock speed is slow for a 08 senda, i guess your still running the small 11t front sprocket, not the 15t one that should now be on there when derestricted...

... so i also question if the brass plate is still fitted into the carb inlet, and if it still has the 208 atomizer and needle fitted?

It will accellerate slower yes, but it will give you more top end. Always a trade off.

How do I remove the gold plate out the carbb?

And okay so if I was to put a 14t on there wu the accrloration still be good or shall I just get a 15

is this the reason at 10,000 revs I'm only goin 45mph?

Thanks

remove the airbox pipe fron the carb, brass plate just pops out with screwdriver or long nose pliers, n just stick a 15t f/s on it...

its behind the main jet, to pop it out you will have to undo the screw on top of the carb which secures the throttle slider in place...

its number 4 on this diagram

Ah dobby, the derbi tuning gurus are once again reunited... long time no speak dude Cool

210 atomizer, A22 needle on middle notch, 105 main jet, no brass plate, 15t sprocket and remove the exhaust resonator pipe and itll have more top speed and still more acceleration than a half derestricted bike with an 11t sprocket for sure...

With the 11t sprockets all the gears feel the same, just revs and goes nowhere Laughing Laughing Laughing
