Is it just me or do the majority of parts on bikes cost about £70!!! Confused

Recently I had to get new front and rear tyres on my bike, they cost about £70 each.
I had to get the head bearings replaced, about £70.
Then the back wheel was buckled, another £70ish to get it respoked - oh, or I could have got a 2nd hand wheel for about £70.
Now my latest bike might need a new rear braker disc, you'll never guess the price of one... yup, £70!!

I recently bought a piston kit and valve guides for my Enfield, had it rebored and the new guides pressed in.

Cost about £70!
