KTM Accumate Battery Charger

All over the manual it says never charge the battery when connected, always disconnect the battery before charging, is this KTM just protecting themselves, as i want to fit a accumate battery charger to the bike and don’t want to have to disconnect it all the time.

I charge my R6 and KTMEXCF with battery still in place ! .. never had an issue

I charge mine in place via the accessory socket - no problems.
