Ok, ok, I know its a car game and I know its old but I don't care. I still like it.

Trouble is, I'm trying to get a Honda NSX to handle, and it won't. What do I need to do with the suspension settings to get rid of (well calm down anyway) the horrendous oversteer?

I take it's the first Gran Turismo then Confused. One way to lessen the oversteer is to run a softer compound tyre on the rear wheels and a harder one on the front. If it's oversteering while your braking into a corner you can alter the brake balance so that the front brakes come in harder. If your NSX has a front wing you could also try increasing the downforce.

Yes it is. Done both of those, no real difference. No wing, as it doesnt have the racing mod.

Confused There should be a difference, maybe you didn't go far enough?

Anyway, oversteer lets you turn the car quicker, take corners faster and power out of them sooner so maybe you should just get used to it! Razz Wink

Not this much oversteer! It loses far too much corner speed. Even my Viper handles better! Shocked

Try making the front springs a bit harder, if that doesnt work try making the rear softer as well

The NSX on the GT series has always oversteered.

Its why they always use the clips of the Castrol one sliding round the corners Razz.

Never! Fully specced R32 on GT2 (about 970BHP) was a beast. Flew round corners and dirty fast too... I'll try to dig out my old memory cards and try to get some of my setup data to you if y'want Smile.

Rolling Eyes You get a massive advantage using manual gears. There's no point messing with a thousand and one suspension settings when you drive like a girl. Razz

Analog when there was no standard analog. Smile
It's sort of half controller/half steering wheel.

i cant stand the analogue on the ps pads

both my pads are the early ones, ive got an analog but it never gets used, i just think its so ergonomically (sp) shite, it hurts my hands and you cant play efficiently

look at the dreamcast for a good analogue controller

or N64 superior still, best controller ever made
