day insurance on a yamaha dt 125???

my friend is getting anew dt 125 and has offered to take me off roading and let me use his other dt 125 but i was wondering roughly how much is day insurance on a dt 125, 1 years no claims (my bad)

and any ideas which insurance company is good?

i have no idea what "day insurance" is.
is it different fron conventional insurance?
Im currently with ebike, as they are pretty cheap & fairly flexible about adding bikes etc,
