Hi all,
my last few posts have been about potential bikes as I want more grunt than my 250 can deliver.
A 1999 ZX6R has almost fallen into my lap - a friend is buying a 636 so wants to sell his bike fairly quickly.
It's in pretty good nick (as far as I know) well looked after and has just passed it's MOT.
I should be able to get it for about £1,400 and am very tempted.

So ... ... ZX6R's - are they as good as the hype (I've always been led to believe that they are great bikes)

They are a good sporty 'all rounder' that isn't too extreme, but can hussle if needed - and can easily tweaked either way to get more sportyness, or more comfort, as required.

A few pals have them and are happy with them. Kawasaki have a nack of making liveable sportsbikes.
