Next bike post accident...

After the accident (see other thread), I am deciding to get a track bike.

However, a bike for the road would still be required and as I'd be trackdaying 3/4 weekends a month the bike on the road would be for commuting + taking the GF around and about.

I was thinking a 1996 Pan European, they are decent as I rode my Dad's before he sold it and I enjoyed it, comfy for me and the GF for some longer rides etc.

However, it'd have to be neutered down to 33bhp, would this make such a bike a chore to ride in terms of acceleration due to weight etc, any experience?

Also looking at VTEC VFR800s.
