When I had an X-Box1, I had a couple of discs with emulators for SNES, NES, megadrive, master system, commodore etc with thousands and thousands of games on them.

It'd be cool if I could do this on the 360 as well. A quick google shows a demonstration of it being done sometime last year, but then the threads usually descend into hacker homebrew jargon which I don't understand.

So....are these emulators out there yet, and if so, how do I get them running?

Cheers,

I'm going to go out on a Limb and say it's not possible.

Running a emulator natively means the ability to run home-brew. AFAIK that's not a possibility on the 360.

Can't remember, were you one of the forum residents who picked up an Android phone recently? If so then check out "Snesoid" and "Gensoid", SNES and Megadrive emulators respectively. Both run silky smooth on the Desire, whilst support is still being worked on for the HTC stuff some phones will even allow you to connect a Wii-mote via bluetooth and control your games.

To the best of my knowledge there isn't currently a working emu on the 360, don't recall seeing one even on a JTAGd box yet.

I have no idea what JTAG'd means, so I guess that rules it out for me.

Cheers anyway people.
