Could a few of you check out the chat page on my web site, id just like to know if (almost) everybody can use this java applet or do some/most/all people have problems with it.

I know the web page is a bit bare, some of the text is to be replaced by pictures and or logos and some bits need to be re-arranged but i just wanted to upload what id done so far.

Basicaly, its a work in (constant) progress

Nope but didn't expect to be able to from work.Error reads:

Chat Room Error 1007 - Connection Failed

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Possible Causes

The chat room (applet) failed to make a TCP/IP connection to the chat server.

Likely causes for this error could be:

- Your ISP is busy or has network problems (AOL user at peak time?)
- You have a FIREWALL blocking connections (speak to your network admin)
- Incorrect PROXY settings (use a SOCKS proxy)
- No Internet connection (are you still connected?)
- Unstable or corrupted operating system networking or browser files
- Chat server is down (not very common, and will not be down for long!)

Though will probably work for me at home, though I don't like the way I get a pop asking if I trsut the gator type software that it wants to install on my machine. Evil or Very Mad
