Hi..

Have just signed up here as I am planning on doing my CBT then taking the DAS but I've got no idea which training centres people recommend! So I'm hoping some people have used some of the centres around Merseyside and can give me some oppinions!

Thanks! Smile

I used marriotts in birkenhead at first, but i wouldn't recommend them! They were good, but you had no way of practicing the speed trap thing so i ended up failing twice because of that! Where are you planning on doing your test?
ian(789???) on here has gone to somewhere in WALLASEY who seem to be pretty good, they do their tests in st.helens too (the pass rate at chester isn't great, although thats where i did mine Rolling Eyes )
If its not too much bother and your doing it in chester, go for Bill Smiths. I used them after marriotts and passed my mod 1 first time with them, but then 3rd time for Mod2. The guy that took me, Ste i think he was called, was a great guy but tended to have a bit of a short fuse if you went the wrong way due to wind noise on the mic!

Hope this helps
Rob Thumbs Up
Also, if you do it at chester (your mod 2) Go for an earlier time when its less busy. Thats what i'd recommend anyways.
EDIT: just read that you're doing DAS, i dont think you'd have any problem with the speed trap Laughing

Aintree Motorcycle Training.
They have a great reputation, my missus is currently there.
My mate passed his test with them
They have more than enough room to practice everything

Great guys, Great place.

Really???Did you have a particular bad experience with them? They seemed alright with me other than the short fuse moments Laughing Other than that they were good, the guys on the desk were a good laugh too Thumbs Up
